While no formal studies have concluded honey reduces allergies, some people have fought their seasonal discomfort for decades by eating honey on a daily basis.
How does it work?
The most accepted theory is that the honey works like a vaccination, triggering an immune system response. The body thinks it’s being invaded, so it produces antibodies to fight off the pollen.
